Debbie Davidman
Co-Founder — Workflow Architect
Former accounting-firm partner and CIO with more than 30 years of experience helping firms improve how they operate. Debbie brings a rare combination of accounting, tax, firm leadership, and technology expertise—shaping workflows that reduce friction, strengthen control, and make growth more supportable in real accounting-firm environments.
What Debbie brings
Debbie Davidman is Co-Founder of Encapsulated, where she works with accounting firms to improve the workflows that most often create downstream drag—especially where software, process, and firm operations do not line up cleanly.
Her perspective is grounded in direct firm experience. Debbie spent more than twenty-five years as CIO of a national accounting firm and also served as a partner, with an earlier background in accounting and taxation. That gives her a practical understanding of how decisions around onboarding, tax operations, reporting, document workflows, and internal systems affect the firm long after implementation.
She has worked extensively across the accounting-firm software landscape and has seen firsthand where vendor tools help, where they fall short, and why critical workflows so often break down between systems rather than within a single application.
At Encapsulated, Debbie focuses on helping firms put structure around those workflows in a way leadership can trust—reducing avoidable rework, improving ownership and usability, and making operational change more durable after go-live.
